Getting best value from resources is key to every school's success. Recognising this, the Department for Children, Schools and Families has made funding available to provide consultancy advice that will support schools in their delivery of value for money. The service is provided and managed by Avail, one of the UK's leading providers of consultancy services to the public sector.
The Avail team is on hand to provide independent support, tailored to each school's needs, and focused on practical action, to help school leaders develop plans that reflect their particular challenges. Our consultants are education specialists - many with backgrounds in school leadership - and are distributed across the country, meaning they are familiar with local contexts. We are able to advise on a range of challenges from workforce reform and getting value from partnering, to financial management and improving procurement.
